Amazon Alexa
This was a pitch for Droga5. The first script I wrote for them had a man in pyjamas turning up on the battlefield at Waterloo and stopping the battle to ask what was the difference between a rifle and a musket. That would have been brilliant but would have cost a zillion pounds. However, once you’ve got the idea of people stepping into scenes as a way of showing how Alexa works, you can write these all day. Which I did.
Opera
Shot this just as covid hit. Hundreds of people in a studio, breathing on each other, breathing on the food, spilling germs all over the floor.
Ironing
Apparently I won at Cannes for this. Didn’t know that till I looked it up for my reel.
Pompeii
Very nice team called Ethan and Liam came up with the idea for this one. I did a bit of CDing and help with writing, but I still shamelessly take credit.
